Horizontal Multiline Layout

Sometimes it is necessary to place elements horizontally (like HorizontalLayout) in several lines instead of just one line:

Here is a custom Flex layout for this: HorizontalMultiLineLayout.as [plain]

Update: it turns out that Evtim has already wrote FlowLayout that does nearly the same just without measuring it’s height, paddings and gaps.

  2. Is there any difference to the so called “FlowLayout” already built many times?

  3. Hehe. The same solution with double measurement which I’ve implemented a couple of month ago. It seems to be there is no other way with current Flex’s measurement architecture to do this :(

  4. Hey man, very good job!

It’s works better than FlowLayout when you need to use auto-height components (like a Label with multi-lines).
